For this blog I demonstrate how to use Storify to create a narrative through tweets. Our class read a book (below) and tweeted quotes and our opinions of the book. The tweets below are just a few that I found most interesting. Mark's tweet addresses how education is outdated. Amanda's tweet perfectly sums up what the global achievement gap means. Ryan's tweet asks a very important question; are we preparing students for tests or the real world? Ms Wetmore's tweet addresses what employers are looking for in new employees. Shelby's tweet again addresses this need to prepare our students to be productive members of our society. Brooke's tweets ask a question that we as educators should be asking every day; how do we prepare our students for college and the real world.? Megan's tweet addresses again what employers are looking for in new employees. Sometimes they don't care about the degree you have, or what university you attended, or how much you know; they want critical thinking, creativity, and problem solvers.
